Brides, Queens and Junkers!

It was a busy week! I worked in the yard quite a bit and finished a couple of crafting projects.

The pitcher above is one of my favorite's from Joyworks which I knocked off the fridge, so I filled it with a fun ground cover and let it brighten the garden a bit.

I also went out to Cobweb Antiques in Monroe, which is always a treasure hunt! I found this cute wicker rolling cart and had to have it- it was ALMOST half the asking price!

She's having a sale on starting the 4th,so worth the hunting, if so inclined.

I finished Meaghan and Nathaniels cake topper for their wedding in September-fun colors-Chocolate brown and green! Hope they like it!

I recently bought the Crowns and Tiara book we've been selling at Joyworks. And one of the blogs I visit is having a crown site so,,,,,one thing lead to another and I tried my hand at my first crown/tiara. It was tons of fun and I started playing around a bit with wire in the process. I'm already thinking about the next one!

Laurens Cake Topper

I finished Lauren's Cake Topper today for her wedding. It was big fun, I hope she likes it! Now, on to the next one . . .

Ballerina Box

I bought a lot of fun Vintage Craft items from Heather at Speckled Egg........She had some great stuff including the Ballerina I put on this box.......it has a little surprise inside, as do all my boxes. I hope it finds a good home!!

Fun Bridal Shower

This week one of my son's best friends fiance', Meaghan had her bridal shower. It was great fun! I can't believe that my "babies" friends are starting to get married!! I've known Nathaniel and his family since Andrew (My son) was about 7 years old! I KNOW I'm gonna cry buckets at this wedding!!

My neighbor Barbara was in attendence. She's 80 something and a hoot!! We played a game involving toilet paper and designing wedding dresses and after 60 some years of marriage, guess who we used as a model! My team, dressing the gal on the left won, but dang,,,,all you get is the TP,,,,,,I wanted my glue gun at the very least!!

I'm making a wedding topper for Nathaniel and Meaghan,,,,,a work in progress!!

Invitations and Paper Goods!!

My friend Cheryl has got MOXIE!! I'm talking about fantastic creativity and dedication to her customers. She provides paper goods. That sounds simplistic. She provides-Menu's, Place cards, Invitations and Misc.. to the STARS!!!!!! Her talent at producing unique and inspired products is amazing!!! She hasn't shared all her client base with me,,,,,,,,but I KNOW they are among the elite, the cultured and the empowered. So let's just say, we're lucky to have her.
